Also obvious is the fact that all of those listed, with the exception of Wynton Marsalis and Arturo Sandoval, are dead.
The top 10 Trumpet “players” in the world was also slanted towards only Jazz players of the past and excluded all of the wonderful Jazz players of today of which there are many.
